Comings and Goings

My kids are adults.

There, I said it.  And it made me a little queasy.

This year there are a lot of changes in my house.  No one is waiting for a class schedule or bus pass.  I don’t need to worry what teachers want with regard to notebooks and supplies. I have no more back-to-school nights and I can’t call teachers to see how any of them are doing.

I have college students.

I’ve been slow to post this week because I’ve been writing, writing, writing. Hopefully, I’ll finish what I’m working on soon!

So, I’ve mentioned MH (the husband) and I wanted to post this picture from our trip to Maine.

I really love it.  It’s so him.

Okay, I know it’s his back, but it’s still a pretty nice view. 😉  He was looking at the rocks.

Little Things

Next month, I’ll be celebrating my 23rd wedding anniversary and the week before my wedding anniversary is the anniversary of my husband’s and my first date.

That was 32 years ago.

Yup.  That’s a long time.  We met in high school and had a bit of a rough patch in college, but since we ended up together, the time apart really doesn’t count.  I know it’s corny, but I don’t look back and wonder about missed opportunities because when it comes down to it,
