Fantasy Friday

Sorry, I’m late today.

It’s been tricky getting back into the groove from my trip.  I’m falling asleep and waking up at the weirdest times!

After the long weekend away, I thought about my post.  What I started thinking about were my heroes.  Romance is all about the hot hero, the fantasy that will make a woman swoon.   I write those guys…and I DO love to write those guys.

But how do I describe my heroes?

Little Things

Next month, I’ll be celebrating my 23rd wedding anniversary and the week before my wedding anniversary is the anniversary of my husband’s and my first date.

That was 32 years ago.

Yup.  That’s a long time.  We met in high school and had a bit of a rough patch in college, but since we ended up together, the time apart really doesn’t count.  I know it’s corny, but I don’t look back and wonder about missed opportunities because when it comes down to it,

You did what?

As I’ve mentioned, I’m a school librarian and I understand that my profession has a certain image associated with it. But I’ve been known to do things that are unexpected or somewhat out of character. For example, I curse creatively. Truly. I don’t do it often, but when I do, it’s like poetry.  Another thing I do?  I tend to find the perverse in something totally innocent.  There are times when I’ll be in a conversation with someone and a comment will have me giggling,
